Welcome Communities in Schools

Thanks to a partnership with Communities in Schools, Riverside Traditional School welcomes our new Community Resource Coordinator, Mrs. Doris Roman. For the last two years, Communities in Schools has provided school supplies and backpacks for our children and now, for the very first time, we will have our own coordinator.

On Thursday, September 2 at 5:30 p.m., parents are welcome to meet Mrs. Roman in our new PTO room. Together we will make a difference for our children, parents, and community!


Virginia Piper Foundation Grant and Communities in Schools

We want to thank the Virginia Piper Foundation and Communities in Schools for providing the means for our students to receive uniforms, school supplies, and book bags. Your contribution has assisted families in need to prepare their children for a successful year in school! Our hats are off to you!


Translation and Interpretation Services

Translation and interpretation services are now available at Riverside Traditional School for parents during parent and teacher conferences, special education conferences, annual IEP reviews, or if you just need to communicate with our teachers. The service is available to all parents. You can request the service at the front office or call us at (602) 272-1339 and ask for Ms. Barajas or you can e-mail her directly.
